About the MRTC

The MRTC is a training center located at the University of Rouen Normandie, IUT of Rouen, Department GEII - Electrical engineering and industrial computing. It provides:
• Face-to-face training
• distance training
in French or English in the following fields:
• Microwave
• RADAR
• Telecommunications
• Optical fiber
• Computers networks
• Reliability of electronic systems
The MRTC was set up as part of a strategic partnership with Thales University, which entrusted the MRTC with training clients of different Thales units in the fields of radio frequencies, radars, optoelectronics and telecommunications.
The MRTC is supported by the Aeronautics-Space - Defense and Security branch of Normandy NAE.

Located within the University Institute of Technology in Rouen, the MRTC training center has premises entirely dedicated to the organization of continuing education courses for professionals. The MRTC also adapts to the most specific needs by designing and implementing tailor-made programs. It has an international scope and has already trained a number of technicians and engineers from different countries: Saudi Arabia, Bolivia, Chile, France, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Qatar, Senegal, Tanzania.

 

The trainers come from the industrial world or are  researchers at the University of Rouen Normandy. Their field of research within the GPM laboratory, Materials Physics Group, is about the reliability and failure analysis of next-generation power electronic components, SiC or GaN technology.
